Tribute Giving
Honor - gifts in honor of someone are a meaningful way to make a donation in the name of friends, family or co-workers. You may want to honor a family member, a teacher, a pastor or an individual who has inspired you with his or her courage in the face of illness or offered you exceptional support during your illness. Tribute gifts can also be given in recognition of birthdays, anniversaries, special occasions or in memory of loved ones.
Memory – While cards and flowers are always appreciated, a memorial gift acknowledges the respectful care that your loved one received, while making a difference in the lives of so many others as well. You can invite friends and family to join your lasting tribute by including these words in the obituary notice:
“In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Memorial Health Care System Foundation to benefit (state area of interest here) at Memorial. Please send your gift to: Memorial Health Care System Foundation, 2525 de Sales Avenue, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37404.”
The honoree or closest family member will receive an acknowledgement card from the Memorial Health Care System Foundation that will inform them of your gift. Through your gifts, you are touching many lives in a unique way while honoring those you love.
