Vascular Screening
For your health and for your life, take 30 minutes with certified staff from Memorial Health Care System to receive a vascular screening. The test includes a quick ultrasound exam of your carotid artery and abdominal aorta as well as a measurement of the circulation in your legs in an attempt to prevent arterial disease, stroke and aneurysm.
You are eligible for this screening if you are age 50+ with at least one of the following risk factors:
- Family History of Heart/Vascular Disease or Stroke
- High Cholesterol (or taking medication for high cholesterol)
- High Blood Pressure (or taking medication for high blood pressure)
- Diabetes
- Current or previous smoker
The For Your Health...For Your Life Vascular Screening costs only $99 and is an out-of-pocket expense due at the time of your appointment. It is performed by a registered vascular sonographer and read by a local board certified physician.
