Color Chattanooga Pink
So many people ask how they can help support this vital cause. This year, we’re encouraging everyone to Color Chattanooga Pink! the week leading up to the event, January 23-28, 2017. We encourage everyone to get creative. A business could light its building pink or encourage employees to wear pink one day, a store or restaurant could dedicate a portion of sales one day, or a school could host a “pink out” basketball game. Posters are available for those who are hosting an event. Whatever you do, please take a video and upload it to our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/Pinkgala. Also, please let us know what you are doing so we can share it throughout our social media channels - call (423) 495-4438 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
As an individual, you can also support by giving – Text ‘GivePink’ to 243725. Gifts of every amount help!
Pink! 2017 has sold out. Please contact the Foundation office at 423-495-PINK (7465) to be placed on a waiting list for tickets or for more information.
The 12th annual Pink! Gala will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the Chattanooga Convention Center.
Proceeds from Pink! are used to ensure the MaryEllen Locher Breast Center at CHI Memorial has the latest equipment available and provides the highest quality care available to women in need. Since the MaryEllen Locher Breast Center opened in 2007, almost 250,000 screening and diagnostic mammograms have been performed at the Center’s three locations and on the mobile health coaches. Breast cancer was the number one cancer diagnosis at CHI Memorial every year from 2005–2014, the latest data available.
Attendees will enjoy cocktails, a four course dinner and dancing with music by Party on the Moon, back by popular demand. First Tennessee Bank is the presenting sponsor for the 2017 Pink! gala.
Pink! is a celebration of life for breast cancer patients and survivors raising more than $2.7 million since 2006 to ensure our community has access to the most advanced breast cancer treatments available.
