Memorial Health Care System to open Memorial Convenient Care Tuesday July, 1, 2014

Memorial Health Care System will open its first urgent care clinic in Cleveland, Tennessee, on Tuesday, July, 1, 2014. Memorial Convenient Care is located at Mouse-Creek Publix Center, 645 Paul Huff Parkway NW, Suite 105, Cleveland, TN 37312.

Memorial Convenient care will be open seven days a week and will treat adults and children for minor illness and injuries that do not require a trip to the hospital emergency room. The clinic will also offer a full range of employer healthcare services, school and sports physicals and flu shots. Memorial Convenient Care will accept most commercial insurance as well as Medicare and Medicaid.

“At our state-of-the-art Memorial Convenient Care, advanced family nurse practitioners provide high-quality, quick, friendly walk-in care to the Cleveland community. Our physicians and staff provide an excellent option for your healthcare needs,” said Trey Bates M.D. Memorial Health Care System Medical Director of Urgent Care.

The convenient care center will have full digital x-ray and laboratory facilities in-house and will be staffed by nurse practitioners, overseen by a board-certified physician and experienced medical staff.

In addition to convenient walk-in hours, Memorial Convenient Care offers cost savings over hospital emergency room care. According to the Urgent Care Association of America, urgent care clinics are becoming increasingly important in today’s healthcare market for services for non-life-threatening illness and injuries because they keep costs down for all groups involved.
