  • Chattanooga Boys Choir to perform at CHI Memorial

    CHI Memorial invites patients, family members, staff, and community members to hear the Chattanooga Boys Choir on Thursday, December 6, 2018.   • CHI Memorial Convenient Care Flu Vaccine Clinic

    All four CHI Memorial Convenient Care locations will host a flu vaccine clinic on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Regular flu vaccines will be available, as well as the high dose vaccine for those age 65 and older. Most insurance companies will pay 100% of the cost. The regular vaccine is $35 for those who do not have insurance.

  • Survivorship empowerment class open to all cancer survivors

    CHI Memorial Rees Skillern Cancer Institute will host a Survivorship Empowerment class on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 5 p.m. The free class is open to all cancer survivors, regardless of where they received treatment, and their care givers.

    The MaryEllen Locher Breast Center partners with Tennessee Breast and Cervical Screening Program, Georgia Breast and Cervical Cancer Program, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, and Hurlbut Foundation to provide eligible uninsured and under-insured women with breast screenings.

    The Board of Directors of CHI Memorial and Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) have selected Janelle Reilly as market chief executive officer (CEO) for CHI Memorial. Larry Schumacher, who formerly served at CHI Memorial’s market CEO, will now focus exclusively on his role as senior vice president, CHI divisional operations, southeast division.

  • Lee Ann Flinn, RN, receives Daisy award for extraordinary nurses

    Lee Ann Flinn, registered nurse (RN) at CHI Memorial, recently received the award after she was nominated by a patient who says Flinn provided hope during a difficult time. Flinn has worked as a registered nurse at CHI Memorial since January 2001 and currently works in Unit 3 at CHI Memorial Hospital Hixson.

  • CHI Memorial receives, donates life-saving narcan

    CHI Memorial has received 900 dosage units of the life-saving drug Narcan® (naloxone HCI) nasal spray 4mg as a donation from Cardinal Health. This donation will support CHI Memorial’s efforts to respond to opioid overdoses in Hamilton County.

    CHI Memorial’s cardiac and oncology television commercial series won the Silver Award at the 35th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards. This program is the oldest, largest and most widely respected healthcare advertising awards competition. More than 4,000 entries were received this year.
