    Lee Ann Flinn, registered nurse (RN) at CHI Memorial, recently received the award after she was nominated by a patient who says Flinn provided hope during a difficult time. Flinn has worked as a registered nurse at CHI Memorial since January 2001 and currently works in Unit 3 at CHI Memorial Hospital Hixson.

    CHI Memorial’s cardiac and oncology television commercial series won the Silver Award at the 35th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards. This program is the oldest, largest and most widely respected healthcare advertising awards competition. More than 4,000 entries were received this year.

  • Pink! nets almost $400,000 for MaryEllen Locher breast center

    CHI Memorial Foundation’s 13th annual Pink! gala, chaired by Dr. Taylor and Tiffany Whaley, and Dr. Tom and Susan Flanagan, raised a net total of $389,000, all of which stays in our local community. Proceeds benefit the MaryEllen Locher Breast Center at CHI Memorial.

  • CHI Memorial Medical Group welcomes Geraldo Holguin, M.D.

    CHI Memorial Medical Group is pleased to announce Geraldo Holguin, M.D., has joined Buz Standefer Lung Center. Dr. Holguin received his medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. He completed his residency and internship in internal medicine at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.
