The Rees Skillern Cancer Institute and CHI Memorial will host the 2020 Southeast Regional Oncology Symposium for primary care providers on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at Embassy Suites from 7:45 a.m. – 2 p.m. A maximum of 5.0 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM have been requested.
Symposium topics include prostate MRI 101; CT lung screening and pulmonary nodule management; upper GI screenings; medical oncology: adjuvant immunotherapy; radiation oncology: why technology matters; surgical oncology – recent advances in surgical and medical management of gynecological malignancies; tumor conference including breast, colon, lung, GYN, head/neck, and urology; survivorship and alternate treatment for pain management; genetics: future state; and value-based care in oncology: OCM, ROM, and beyond.
The symposium is appropriate for primary care physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, interns, residents, and medical students involved in the care of oncology patients.
The cost to attend the 2020 Southeast Regional Oncology Symposium is $125 for physicians, $70 for advance practice clinicians, and $35 for allied health professionals.
