CHI Memorial Outpatient Physical Therapy Moves to New Location in Hixson

CHI Memorial Physical Therapy has moved its Hixson office to the YMCA Healthy Living Center at North River on Hixson Pike.  The new location features outpatient physical, speech, and occupational therapy, including VitalStim for speech and swallow therapy.  This location also has a certified hand therapist and geriatric clinical specialist on staff.   

“We are excited to be embedded in the community, and for the opportunity to incorporate overall wellness with our patients beyond their time with therapy,” says Melissa Harrington White, PT, DPT, CCI, director of rehabilitation services at CHI Memorial.  “We are eager to offer the YMCA patrons exposure to our programs and routine education provided by our clinical staff.”

CHI Memorial offers outpatient physical therapy at two convenient locations.  In Hixson, the new location is inside the YMCA Healthy Living Center at North River at 4138 Hixson Pike.  In East Brainerd, physical therapy is available inside the Hamilton Family YMCA at 7430 Shallowford Road.  Aquatic therapy is available at both locations. 

Pelvic health physical therapy is available at the Hamilton Family YMCA location; at CHI Memorial Hospital Hixson in the MaryEllen Locher Breast Center at 5022 Old Godsey Lane, Suite 8, Hixson, TN 37343; and CHI Memorial Ooltewah Women’s Center at 6401 Mountain View Road, Suite 101, Ooltewah, TN 37363.
