Neurosurgeon Mayshan Ghiassi, MD, FAANS, Joins CHI Memorial Stroke and Neuroscience Center

CHI Memorial and CHI Memorial Medical Group are pleased to welcome Mayshan Ghiassi, MD, FAANS, neurosurgeon, to the CHI Memorial Stroke and Neuroscience Center. Dr. Ghiassi received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville. He completed a residency in neurological surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he also served as neurosurgery chief resident. Dr. Ghiassi also completed an endovascular fellowship at Vanderbilt. He is a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), AANS Cerebrovascular Section, and the Society of Neurointerventional Surgery (SNIS). Dr. Ghiassi provides highly-skilled care in the treatment of conditions of the brain and spine, with special interest in cerebrovascular surgery, skull base neurosurgery, and spinal reconstruction. He is a native of Nashville and has previously practiced in Arkansas, Kentucky, and Florida.
