Working together to strengthen our community

Friends of CHI Memorial

Friends of Memorial are individuals who support the mission and ministry of CHI Memorial with an annual gift to the Foundation.  In FY19, gifts to the Friends of Memorial will be used to help end late stage lung cancers.  Because lung cancer is often difficult to detect until it has reached late stages, we have historically seen very low rates for survival.  Through new technology available we now have a way to screen for lung cancer to find it in its earlies stages when it is treatable and survivable.

With support from Friends of CHI Memorial, we can:

  • Better spread the word about the benefits of lung cancer screening
  • Provide free screenings to those who cannot afford
  • Continue to develop new technology to better treat lung cancer

Your $100 gift will provide a lung screening for one patient.

Your $250 gift will send the Breathe Easy mobile lung screening coach to a rural community.

Your $500 gift will provide smoking cessation education classes.

Your $1,000 gift will help fund the development of new technology for the treatment of lung cancer.
