For women at risk for hereditary breast and ovarian cancers (HBOC). The group meets once every quarter. More than 2 million women in the United States may be at increased risk for hereditary cancers because of their family history, according to Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered (FORCE). For men who have experienced prostate cancer. Support for People with Oral and Head and Neck Cancer's (SPOHNC) National Survivor Volunteer Network is a wonderful program. The Match Program is especially helpful for those who are unable to get to a group meeting or who live in an area where there may not currently be a group that meets each month. Phone support can be very helpful to those who are just beginning treatment or having issues with side effects following treatment.
