CHI Memorial has almost 500 physicians on medical staff. With a diverse assortment of medical specialties and sub-specialties, CHI Memorial is equipped to provide the highest quality health care for the vast majority of our community. Many patients from other areas of the country travel to CHI Memorial to seek treatment from our nationally recognized providers.

EpicCare Link is Epic’s web-based application for connecting organizations to their community affiliates. It provides community users secure access to select patient information in CHI Memorial's Epic data repository. EpicCare Link is not an EMR solution. It is a read-only application with some service-oriented features which are configured to facilitate patient care with community practices.

Examples of community users include people outside of CHI Memorial who might need to review the clinical and administrative information of patients seen at our organization.  Affiliate clinical staff, billers, long-term care facilities, and correctional facilities are examples of EpicCare Link users.If you have any questions regarding CHI Memorial's EpicCare Link, please email [email protected]  or call (423) 495-8480.

The CHI Memorial Patient Intake Center is a one-call customer service center staffed with nurses to help coordinate urgent and same day admissions to CHI Memorial Hospital Chattanooga, CHI Memorial Hospital Hixson and CHI Memorial Hospital Georgia. Our goal is to streamline the referral and acceptance process.

Benefits:

• Physicians gain real time knowledge of bed availability.
• For STEMI, physicians are connected directly with a cardiologist who will accept the patient for cardiac intervention.
• CHI Memorial’s STEMI treatment times are among the fastest in the nation.
• For stroke, physicians are connected directly to a neurologist who will discuss the care and admission of the stroke patient.
• Hospitalist and Intensivist are available for a real time direct connect phone call to discuss the patient’s admission.
