Rafael Souchet, AG-ACNP, is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and is a member of the American Association of Neurology and of the local and national American Nurses Association. Souchet has more than ten years of experience in stroke and neurology care. As an inpatient acute care nurse practitioner, with CHI Memorial Neuroscience Institute, Souchet is an integral member of the stroke response team that covers all emergent strokes or potential strokes that come in through the Emergency Department and those that occur throughout the CHI Memorial Hospital Chattanooga campus. He works collaboratively with emergency medicine physicians, neurosurgeons, neuro-interventional radiologists, intensivists, hospitalists and referring physicians to provide rapid treatment for stroke.
