Dr. Fugate attended medical school at James H. Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University. He completed his general surgery residency at E. Carolina University in Greenville, NC, before completing fellowship training in vascular surgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD.  Dr. Fugate is board certified in vascular surgery and general surgery. Dr. Fugate has been providing vascular care in this area since 2009.
