Orthopedic care

Bone, joint or muscle pain can really hurt – especially when they keep you from what you love.

CHI Memorial offers the latest techniques performed by highly experienced surgeons who treat a full range of orthopedic conditions affecting the hips, knees, spine, shoulders, hands, wrists, feet and ankles. Our specialized team approach to caring for you helps you get back to a more active life.

Team approach

Our team of experienced medical professionals offer coordinated, compassionate care. Orthopedic surgeons work with our care team of nurses, therapists, and support staff to help you or a loved one return to active living.

  • With specialized training in orthopedics, our operating room teams, anesthesiologists, nursing staff and therapy specialists are dedicated to getting you back on your feet through a comprehensive recovery plan.
  • Your treatment may include pain management, infection prevention, physical and/or occupational therapy and a home recovery plan that is likely to involve special equipment or supplies. Everything will be arranged as needed by our team.
  • Regularly scheduled quality conferences bring together representatives from every area of orthopedic care to review ways to improve the patient experience, streamline coordinated care plans and continue to meet and exceed national benchmarks for quality standards.

CHI Memorial offers a range of surgical options to treat joint pain including arthroscopy, partial or total replacement of the knee, hip and shoulder.

Spine care

CHI Memorial was the very first in the area to offer lumbar disc replacement surgery, and we continue to stay at the forefront of medical advances to provide the highest quality care using the latest surgical techniques to treat chronic and acute spinal pain and disorders. Learn more
