MAGIC Employee Campaign

MAGIC Employee Campaign

MAGIC is Memorial Associates Giving to Improve our Community

Since its inception in 2003, CHI Memorial associates have given over $2.5M through contributions to MAGIC. In the past, MAGIC funds have helped to build the MaryEllen Locher Breast Center, to bring a dedicated breast MRI to Chattanooga, to create a healing garden for MICU patients, as well as construction of the St. Anne’s Chapel and employee fitness Center in the Guerry Heart & Vascular Center and much more. Since 2010 more than 345 associates have received assistance through the MAGIC Employee Emergency Fund.

How will my money be used?
Every day, we are called to respond to the needs of others around us, whether it’s our patients, the underserved in our community, or our fellow co-workers. The MAGIC campaign is a wonderful way to answer that call. The 2018-2020 MAGIC campaign will support the following funds:

  • 50% will be dedicated to the Employee Emergency Fund (available to associates from all departments and campuses to receive assistance during a time of crisis)
  • 50% will be available to support the greatest needs of CHI Memorial (departments throughout the health care system will have the opportunity to submit requests for funding for projects and equipment)

When will my deductions begin?
New payroll deductions are turned in every Friday, and deductions will begin the following pay period. Campaign pledges made now will remain in effect until May 2020. Changes to your deduction can be made anytime by contacting the Foundation at: (423) 495-7438 or foundation@memorial.org.

Donate online or download the MAGIC donation form and return the completed form to the CHI Memorial Foundation.
