Today, as CHI Memorial has grown to meet the needs of our community, so has our volunteer team - a team of several hundred women and men including American Red Cross, Auxiliary, independent members. Each volunteer has a story, a reason for serving; each shares the priceless gift of self. They are valued as gifts from God.

For many people, the chance to do something meaningful is the most important reason to volunteer. You will be a part of CHI Memorial’s mission to continue the healing ministry of the Church.

CHI Memorial publishes Cheerio Chats, a quarterly newsletter for volunteers. To review the most recent newsletter, click here.

Student Volunteer Update

Each year, CHI Memorial has hosted students who serve in our Volunteer Services department helping to fulfill many of the duties normally performed by our adult volunteer force.  This has been extremely helpful as our adult volunteers typically took time off during the summer months.

Unfortunately, this year due to changes made in response to the pandemic, and fewer of our adult volunteers taking time off, we will not be accepting new student volunteers.  Students who served last year will be welcome to return as a summer volunteer.

We hope to reinstate the new student summer volunteer program in 2022.
