Pelvic Health Care

CHI Memorial Pelvic Health Care treats women and men for urinary and fecal incontinence in a private, comfortable environment. The inability to control bladder and/or bowel function is not an inevitable part of the aging process. Millions of Americans suffer with incontinence, but women are twice as likely to suffer as men.

Physical therapy focus for pelvic health care

CHI Memorial Pelvic Health Care treats a variety of pelvic floor issues through physical therapy. Treatments are provided in a private, comfortable atmosphere by certified pelvic health physical therapists after physician assessment and referral.

Treatment options include:

  • Internal and external manual therapy techniques
  • Specific strengthening programs
  • Bladder and bowel retraining and education
  • Biofeedback
  • Electrical Stimulation
  • Orthopedic physical therapy assessments and treatment

Physical therapists with specialized training in manual pelvic physical therapy will administer one on one therapy for male and female patients. These non-invasive treatments have few side effects and provide low cost solutions to patients with insurance coverage.

Treatment is available for patients with the following pelvic and health related diagnoses:

  • Urinary and fecal incontinence
