Dr. Megan Whittier obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy in 2014. Following graduation, she completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency (PGY-1) at CHI Memorial where she remained on staff as a clinical pharmacist. She is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist and has completed the ASHP Pain Management Certificate Program. She is the lead pharmacist for the department’s Opioid Stewardship and Pain Management Program. She serves as a preceptor for the hospital pharmacy practice longitudinal learning experience, as well as, the Opioid Stewardship/Pain Management learning experience elective. She is an affiliate faculty member for the University of Tennessee Health Science College of Pharmacy and Mercer University College of Pharmacy.
